You could even secure it to the wall if you wanted to, but I found it wasn’t necessary at all for me.. I’ve been looking for a good way to store my gift wrap for years and finally I’ve found something that looks good (if you love all that rustic wood, and I do), and is totally functional.
I actually didn’t really know what to do with it, but I knew I wanted to look at it all the time, so I stuck it in the dining room for now with a little twine garland. It works.. We think this may have originally been in the back wall of our garage, which is now covered up and a solid wall.
One day, when we build our new 2 car garage/workshop, we plan to keep our old garage as a little outdoor entertaining building and install french doors off the back out to a deck over-looking the creek.Oh, big plans.. For now, I’m just enjoying my cute window.Well, it’s the last day of November, so it’s about time we get into the Christmas swing of things, doncha think?.We had our first snowfall last night and everything is looking all perfect and Christmassy.
We’re all just loving it around here..I thought I’d start at the very beginning, a very good place to start, in the mudroom, where we usually enter the house..
I cheated a bunch in this room and reused a lot of the same elements as in my.
It made the whole thing really easy to do though, and Kennedy helped out a lot, which she loved..It probably only needs a few more gold frames and I can call it done-ish..
So what do you think?Do you like the super-tall bed look or do you like to keep things lower and easier to get into?.
